The event kicked off with a welcome address by the Country representative of the African Child Foundation, Comrade Donald Onosakponome,he advised all recipients of the award to continue to be role models in their various fields of endeavors.
He added that the awardees are ''notable Persons and organizations with extraordinary achievements derived from their determination, tenacity, doggedness, patriotism and passion for excellence in a morally decayed society where youths choose alternatives to hard work as a means of wealth acquisition.
The high point of the event was the award presentation by ace broadcaster and founder of BISCON Television Network, Bisi Olatilo,he admonished Ms Odili to continue to be an active voice on social media platforms and
congratulated her on her achievement so far.
In an atmosphere of gratitude, Ms Odili, thanked God Almighty and her followers on social media for the honour bestowed upon her. According to Ms Odili,'' it's a dream come true for me ,having started my career at the age of 17 as the Editor of Glissy Magazine which later emerged as Tonia Odili's Blog and Youtube channel which has attracted millions of views across the globe, I therefore dedicate this award to all those that have supported me by sharing my content online''.
Gloria Ibru, Oristefemi, Bisi Olatilo and others were amongst those honoured at the event.
